A separate micro-serration service is available for eligible Expert Affidenté® paring knives. The knife given when you moved into your first home. The one that has prepared vegetables for years. When cutting becomes less comfortable, replacing the tool is not always the only question. Appropriate attention may help it continue to serve.

In Biesles, Haute-Marne, sharpening forms part of our manufacturing knowledge. Straight-edged and micro-serrated blades require different work. Our sharpening service covers Nogent*** straight-edged knives, including paring and kitchen knives. The micro-serration service applies to the Expert Affidenté® paring knives covered by that particular service.

This distinction matters before ordering. Micro-serrations cannot be treated like a straight edge with a domestic sharpener. Check the type of blade, then the corresponding service. For an old or damaged knife, discussing it with our team helps establish what may be possible before you send it. The condition of the individual tool is an important part of that conversation.

Prepare your request and send your knives

Order through the appropriate service page. Each service is charged per knife, so select the quantity that matches the number of blades needing attention. Consult that page for the applicable sending and return arrangements.

Knives are then sent to the relevant department at Nogent***, 11 rue Louis André, 52340 Biesles, France. Protect the blades for transport. This first exchange helps identify the appropriate intervention rather than assuming every blade needs the same work.

For everyday care, straight-edged knives can also be maintained with a compatible tool, following its instructions. Workshop attention and home maintenance do not always meet the same need. What matters is choosing the right action, then enjoying a knife that already feels familiar in your hand.
