For over 100 years, Nogent*** has been striving to achieve the perfect handle by designing knives and utensils suited to everyday use. From the kitchen to the plate, every product combines precision, simplicity and French craftsmanship.


It is with this approach in mind that the Les Responsables range was created: high-performance, comfortable tools with handles made from a high proportion of bio-based materials, selected for their durability and ease of use.

Sustainable materials

The ‘Les Responsables’ range is based on the use of two bio-based materials:

Sugar cane
BIOCOMPOSITE

Produced from the recycling of plant-based waste, this material contains 94 per cent bio-based material derived from sugar cane.

Made from 97 per cent bio-based materials derived from wood waste and recycled cooking oil, this biocomposite offers strength, stability and comfort in use.

Handles incorporating bio-based materials
Depending on the model, the handles contain 94 per cent bio-based material derived from sugar cane or are made from 97 per cent bio-based material derived from wood waste and recycled cooking oil.

Materials selected for their durability
The materials used for the handles have been chosen to provide a comfortable grip and good resistance to everyday wear and tear.

Dishwasher-safe
Easy to care for, these knives are dishwasher-safe and fit seamlessly into everyday use.

Uncompromised performance
The stainless steel blades deliver a clean, precise and efficient cut, true to Nogent’s*** knife-making expertise.

Responsible manufacturing in France

Like all Nogent ranges, Les Responsables is manufactured in France, at the workshops in Biesles, in the Haute-Marne department.

The brand oversees the entire manufacturing process there: cutting the blades, heat treatment, moulding the handles, assembly and finishing. This integrated production process guarantees quality, traceability and consistency with the manufacturer’s environmental commitments.

Awarded the Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (EPV) label, Nogent*** embodies recognised expertise, capable of evolving towards more sustainable solutions whilst maintaining high standards.
