Paring Knife – 9 cm blade, 1 mm serrated – Natural | Classic Wood

This natural paring knife combines a 9 cm blade with fine 1 mm serrations. It is intended for clean, careful cutting, particularly when the surface of a fruit or vegetable is more resistant than the tender flesh beneath.

A finely serrated blade for delicate textures

The fine serrations of this paring knife help the edge engage the skin of fruit and vegetables before passing through the flesh. That matters particularly with ripe tomatoes, kiwis and other ingredients that can be difficult to start cutting without pressure. The blade gives you a practical way to make neat slices and prepare small portions while respecting the texture of the food.

Use a steady movement and allow the teeth to begin the cut. The length of the blade gives you the space to work across different sizes of ingredients, from small fruit to vegetables prepared for cooking. For a tomato salad, careful slices help retain the fruit’s shape; for a sandwich, an even cut makes the preparation easier to assemble. The objective remains the same: a clean result, achieved without unnecessary force.

A precise companion for small preparations

A paring knife earns its place through versatility. Keep it close to hand when trimming vegetables, portioning fruit or preparing a quick meal. Its proportions are suited to controlled strokes rather than broad chopping motions. You can switch easily from an individual ingredient to a whole chopping board of produce while maintaining the same attention to detail.

The Nogent*** approach is rooted in a century of French cutlery expertise and in the belief that simple tools should perform their function well. Use the knife on a suitable board and clean the blade carefully after each preparation. Proper storage helps protect the serrated edge, allowing this compact utensil to accompany everyday cooking with precision and ease.

Its natural wood handle adds a warm, tactile element to a simple, useful kitchen tool. Clean and dry the wood carefully after use to preserve it.
