This green 9 cm Affidenté® paring knife combines a familiar, manageable format with the patented Nogent*** micro-serrated edge. Designed for everyday fruit and vegetable preparation, it is especially useful when the ingredient calls for a light, clean cut.
The patented Affidenté® edge at work
Affidenté® is a patented Nogent*** cutting technology developed for clean, precise slicing. Its micro-serration is made up of four teeth per millimetre, almost invisible to the naked eye. These incredibly fine teeth score the skin of fruit and vegetables without crushing their delicate flesh. On a ripe tomato, a kiwi or a soft ingredient, the difference is felt immediately: the cut begins gently and continues with control, without having to force the blade.
The nine-centimetre blade retains the manoeuvrability of a classic paring knife. It is equally useful for trimming small vegetables, making tidy slices, preparing fruit or finishing a garnish. The micro-serrated edge is designed to maintain its performance without routine sharpening. A steady hand and a suitable chopping board are all that is needed to make the most of its cutting qualities, from quick everyday work to more careful preparation.
Everyday comfort, made to last
The compact format makes this knife easy to reach for during a busy cooking session. It can handle a few ingredients for lunch or help prepare a larger meal without taking up unnecessary space at the board. Its practical handle and clear cutting purpose favour a movement that feels controlled and reassuring, even when the ingredient itself is delicate.
This technology is the result of the specialist manufacturing expertise cultivated by Nogent*** in its Biesles workshops since 1923. Clean the knife after use and store it carefully to protect the blade. An essential tool, it makes precision part of the most familiar kitchen gestures.
Its green polypropylene handle provides a practical, comfortable grip. The design stays focused on the cutting gesture, with a finish that is easy to recognise among everyday utensils.

Since 1923, in the heart of the Haute-Marne, Nogent*** has been serving French households.
This founding legacy is built on fully mastered craftsmanship, from steel to blade, from wood to handle, from cutting to the finished table.
Today, we are one of the few French companies to offer a 100 per cent integrated manufacturing process: blade cutting, machining, heat treatment, plastic injection moulding, rivet setting, polishing, sharpening… everything is carried out on-site at our workshops in Biesles.
This industrial decision represents a strong commitment. It guarantees complete traceability, consistently high quality standards and a direct link between our teams and our products.
