A tomato to slice, vegetables to chop, supper taking shape. Affidenté® Confort knives bring a micro-serrated blade and a polypropylene handle to these everyday tasks. Clean cutting, straightforward care. Made in our Biesles workshops, they belong in kitchens where people enjoy preparing food themselves, without making the routine more complicated or adding to the washing-up once the meal is over.
A fine edge you can feel at work
Four teeth per millimetre. Almost invisible to the naked eye, their effect becomes clear with the first tomato. The blade cuts through the skin, then the flesh, without crushing it. That is the Affidenté® principle: a clean, even cut without the need for sharpening. The technical detail serves a simple purpose. It allows the hand to work comfortably and brings back the pleasure of cutting, even with the most delicate ingredients.
The blades are made from XC50CrMoV15 stainless steel. Their micro-serrations are applied by hand after sharpening in our Haute-Marne workshops. An ergonomic polypropylene handle provides a comfortable grip. Dishwasher-safe, Affidenté® Confort also fits the routine after supper. Precision concerns the whole tool, not just its edge: how it is made, how it feels and how naturally it returns to your hand when it is time to cook the next meal.
Choose a length that suits your cooking
For smaller preparations, paring knives keep the work close to the hand. The 8 and 9 cm blades suit small and medium-sized fruit and vegetables. The 6.5 cm straight-profile blade supports precise cuts. The 11 cm version provides more length for larger ingredients. There is no need to collect every size. Start with the food you prepare most often and the blade length that feels right for your usual tasks.
On the chopping board, the 17 cm kitchen knife and 20 cm chef’s knife take over for cutting, chopping and slicing. The 16 cm slicing knife suits cold meats and fish. Affidenté® peelers complete the preparation tools. One cutting principle, different shapes, so you can cook at your own pace. Whether it is a quick salad or supper for several people, the tool follows what you feel like making.
