Ergonomic Bread Knife – 19cm blade with 7.5mm serrations – Grey | Expert Affilé

This grey ergonomic bread knife combines a 19 cm blade with 7.5 mm serrations. Created to help cut through a crust while respecting the softer crumb inside, it accompanies breakfasts, lunches and the pleasure of sharing freshly sliced bread.

Serrations that begin the cut through a crust

A loaf of bread combines a firmer crust with a soft centre, which is why a dedicated serrated blade makes such a difference. This nineteen-centimetre bread knife uses pronounced 7.5-millimetre serrations to help the cut begin at the crust. With a steady back-and-forth movement and controlled pressure, it can pass through bread and baked goods while helping preserve their shape.

Place the loaf securely on a board and let the serrations do the work rather than pressing straight down. This makes it easier to prepare slices for breakfast, cut a crusty roll for lunch or portion a homemade cake. The long blade provides useful reach, while the ergonomic format supports a comfortable movement. Each slice can be adjusted to the recipe: thin for toast, generous for a sandwich or even for serving at the table.

The familiar pleasure of good bread

A bread knife often sees use at the very beginning of the day and again when people gather for a meal. Its purpose is modest but important: making a small ritual feel simpler. A dedicated serrated blade is especially useful when fresh bread deserves to be portioned without compressing the crumb. It can also make serving pastries and other baked goods more comfortable.

Nogent*** brings its century of cutting expertise to these ordinary moments. After cutting, remove crumbs and clean the blade with care; store it where the serrations are protected. A good bread knife lets you enjoy the result of baking, and the pleasure of sharing it, without unnecessary effort.

Its grey polypropylene handle provides a practical, comfortable grip. The design stays focused on the cutting gesture, with a finish that is easy to recognise among everyday utensils.
