The Nogent Iconic 9 cm serrated paring knife is designed to meet the demands of delicate cutting tasks. Where a smooth blade might slip, its 3 mm serrations provide immediate grip, ensuring a clean, precise cut without crushing the food.
These fine serrations are particularly suited to foods with thin skins and tender flesh, such as tomatoes, ripe fruit or certain delicate vegetables. They allow you to easily score the surface without damaging the interior texture, ensuring clean, even slices.
Thanks to its 9 cm serrated blade, this knife retains excellent manoeuvrability whilst offering valuable versatility for everyday use. It allows for precise work on small surfaces whilst remaining effective for quicker cuts.
Its grip is enhanced by a solid wood handle, designed to offer comfort and stability. It naturally follows the movement of the hand, allowing for optimal control and smooth use, even during repeated cutting. The feel is precise, reassuring and pleasant.
In keeping with Nogent’s tradition of craftsmanship, the wood is sourced from sustainably managed French forests. Hornbeam, beech or wild cherry: each species is selected for its mechanical and aesthetic qualities. PEFC™ certified (10-31-3657), the wood is air-dried for a year at the Biesles workshop, then stained and varnished to ensure stability, durability and long-lasting resilience.
Designed to last, this 9 cm serrated paring knife is part of a responsible approach to cooking, where precision of movement also depends on choosing the right tool.
The ideal complement to a smooth-blade paring knife, it provides a specific technical solution for the most delicate cuts.
