Roasting knife – 20 cm blade – Black | Expert Affidenté® Polypro

This black 20 cm Affidenté® roasting knife brings precision to one of the most satisfying moments of a meal: carving and serving. Its long, micro-serrated blade is designed to help produce regular slices of cooked meat with a steady gesture.

A micro-serrated edge for serving a roast

A roast deserves to be sliced with care, especially when it is about to be shared at the table. This twenty-centimetre carving blade uses Nogent*** Affidenté® technology: an extremely fine micro-serration of four teeth per millimetre, almost invisible to the naked eye. It helps the edge engage the surface of the meat and continue the cut with measured pressure, supporting neat, even slices while respecting the texture of the dish.

The generous blade length allows longer movements across a roast or another substantial cooked piece. Stabilise the food on a suitable board and guide the knife at a consistent angle, adjusting the thickness to suit the serving. A well-directed cut makes portions easier to arrange on a platter and helps preserve their appearance. Affidenté® is designed to retain its cutting performance without routine sharpening, an advantage for a utensil used whenever family meals call for careful carving.

From the kitchen to the serving platter

This roasting knife is intended for the moment when preparation becomes sharing. It can help divide a joint for a Sunday lunch or arrange slices for a family gathering. The black handle offers a straightforward grip, leaving attention on the movement of the blade and the presentation of the food. Its usefulness is clear, even when the occasion is special.

Nogent*** has developed cutting tools in its Haute-Marne workshops since 1923. A practical expression of the pleasure of preparing and serving food by hand.

Its black polypropylene handle provides a practical, comfortable grip. The design stays focused on the cutting gesture, with a finish that is easy to recognise among everyday utensils.
